What this tool does

Supported PDF cleanup rewrites the document and removes unreachable objects, rather than appending a new metadata record. The initial subset is classic cross-reference PDFs up to 10 MB and 100 pages. Object-stream PDFs, encrypted or signed files, forms and active content are not supported for cleanup. Standard properties and catalog XMP are in scope; page contents and links are retained.

Try a real example

Use “Try an example” to inspect a bundled file through the same local engine. It is visibly marked as an example and is never a simulated result.

Can this redact sensitive document contents?

No. It removes selected supported properties. Text, images, annotations and information visible on the page remain. Use a dedicated redaction workflow for document contents.
