ClearOrigin provides local inspection and supported metadata cleanup. Use it for files you are authorized to inspect and modify. You are responsible for how you share the resulting files and for any disclosures your work requires.

What results mean

Editable metadata is a claim. A signed credential records assertions, and a valid signature does not independently prove every assertion. Missing evidence leaves origin unknown. Proprietary pixel watermark and statistical AI detection are not included. Cleanup is not redaction, proof of human authorship or a promise to remove every detection signal.

Access and payments

Free single-file use requires no account. Project Pass is $9 USD for 168 hours; Pro is $29 USD for 365 × 24 hours. Both unlock the same workflow features. One-time payment. No automatic renewal. The initial grant begins at confirmed payment. Additional purchases extend valid access, subject to refunds and disputes. Your account displays the exact expiry date.

Limits and safe copies

Supported formats and limits are published with the tools. Keep originals and review outputs in your intended viewer before delivery. Processing may reject corrupted files or unsupported features. Batch limits are 100 files, 50 MB per file and 250 MB total input. Smaller document and expansion limits apply.

Refunds and statutory rights

Our refund policy describes the 14-day request process. Nothing in these terms removes applicable consumer rights. Services are provided subject to applicable law; the operator must complete jurisdiction-specific merchant disclosures before accepting payments.
