What this tool does

EXIF can record camera details, dates, authorship and GPS location. The personal preset selects supported personal fields; custom selection lets you review each one. Orientation, color and undocumented EXIF tags are protected. Unknown or overlapping structures fail safely instead of risking the image.

Does this remove personal information visible in the image?

No. Faces, addresses or text in the image are pixels, not metadata. This utility is not a redaction tool.
